Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh sikap asertif dan kepuasan dalam hubungan romantis terhadap perilaku dating violence pada korban dewasa awal di Jakarta. Metode yang diterapkan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 102 responden, yang diperoleh melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah The Revised Conflict Tactics Scale (CTS2) yang dikembangkan oleh Straus, et al. (1996) untuk mengukur dating violence, Skala Asertivitas yang dikembangkan oleh Indriya (2014) berdasarkan aspek-aspek asertivitas yang dikemukakan oleh Alberti & Emmons (2008) untuk mengukur sikap asertif, serta Relationship Assesment Scale (RAS) yang dikembangkan oleh Hendrick (1988) untuk mengukur kepuasan dalam hubungan romantic. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan melalui analisis regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, tidak ditemukan bahwa sikap asertif dan kepuasan dalam hubungan romantis berpengaruh terhadap dating violence secara simultan. Akan tetapi, kepuasan dalam hubungan romantis memiliki pengaruh secara parsial terhadap dating violence, dengan kontribusi sebesar 5%. ***** This study aims to examine the influence of assertive behavior and relationship satisfaction on dating violence among early adult victims in Jakarta. The research employed a quantitative method involving 102 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The instruments used in this study include the Revised Conflict Tactics Scale (CTS2) developed by Straus et al. (1996) to measure dating violence, the Assertiveness Scale developed by Indriya (2014) based on the assertiveness aspects proposed by Alberti & Emmons (2008), and the Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS) developed by Hendrick (1988) to assess relationship satisfaction. Hypothesis testing was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that assertiveness and relationship satisfaction do not simultaneously influence dating violence. However, relationship satisfaction was found to have a partial influence on dating violence, with a contribution of 5%.
