Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh religiusitas dan mattering terhadap kesepian pada biarawan biarawati. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatakan korelasional non eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunakan 183 sampel yang merupakan biarawan dan biarawati di seluruh Indonesia. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik purposive sampling. Dalam penelitian ini alat ukur yang digunakan di antaranya, yaitu De Jong Gierveld Loneliness Scale - 6 Item sebagai instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur kesepian, 20-Item Dimensions of Religiosity Scale (DR Scale) sebagai isntrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur religiusitas, dan General Mattering Scale sebagai instrumen untuk mengukur mattering. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda untuk menguji pengaruh antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi antara religiusitas dan mattering terhadap kesepian yaitu 0,109 yang berarti nilai p>0,05. Hasil tersebut dapat diinterpretasi bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan yang simultan antara religiusitas dan mattering terhadap kesepian pada biarawan dan biarawati. *****This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of religiosity and mattering on loneliness in monks and nuns. This study uses quantitative methods with a non-experimental correlational approach. This study used 183 samples who were monks and nuns throughout Indonesia. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling technique. In this study, the measuring instruments used include the De Jong Gierveld Loneliness Scale - 6 Items as an instrument used to measure loneliness, the 20-Item Dimensions of Religiosity Scale (DR Scale) as an instrument used to measure religiosity, and the General Mattering Scale as an instrument to measure mattering. Hypothesis testing uses multiple linear regression tests to test the influence between variables. The results showed that the significance value between religiosity and mattering towards loneliness was 0.109, which means the p value> 0.05. These results can be interpreted that there is no simultaneous significant influence between religiosity and mattering on loneliness in monks and nuns.
