Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran resiliensi ayah yang kehilangan anaknya setelah bencana banjir bandang dan mengetahui aspek apa saja yang membentuk proses resiliensi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dan menggunakan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi. Teori resiliensi oleh Reivich dan Shatte yang membahas mengenai tujuh aspek resiliensi menjadi landasan pembahasan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini mengambil dua subjek yang merupakan ayah yang kehilangan anaknya. Lokasi berada di kota madya Bogor provinsi Jawa Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kedua subjek penelitian memenuhi ketujuh aspek resiliensi yaitu regulasi emosi, pengendalian impuls, analisis kausal, optimisme, efikasi diri, empati, dan keterjangkauan setelah peristiwa kehilangan anak. Temuan lain pada penelitian ini juga menunjukan bahwa faktor penguat yang membantu dalam proses resiliensi adalah faktor spiritual dan faktor dukungan sosial. ***** The research explores the resilience of fathers who experienced the loss of their children due to flash floods disaster and to determine what aspects form the resilience process identify the internal and external factors that influence the development of resilience, as well as the strategies adopted by the fathers in fostering resilient behavior. The study applied a qualitative method with a case study approach, utilizing interviews and observations as data collection techniques. The analysis was based on the resilience theory proposed by Reivich and Shatte, there are seven core components of resilience. Two fathers who had lost their children were selected as subjects in this study, which was conducted in the municipality of Bogor, West Java. The results of research showed that both subjects fulfilled the seven aspects of resilience aspects such as emotional regulation, impulse control, causal analysis, optimism, self-efficacy, empathy, and reaching out are significantly contributed to the resilience process in the aftermath of their loss. Furthermore, the study highlights that spiritual beliefs and social support networks were reinforcing factors in strengthening the subjects resilience.
