This study uses a quantitative approach with hypothesis testing. The sampling technique used was non-probability purposive sampling, involving a total of 100 young adults in Indonesia who have been in a long-distance relationship for at least three months. The instruments used to collect data were the Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS) and the Perceived Relationship Quality Components (PRQC), both of which were adapted to suit the Indonesian cultural and linguistic context. The findings revealed a significant influence of emotional well-being on relationship quality among individuals in long-distance relationships. The contribution of emotional well-being to relationship quality was 33.8%, with a positive directional effect, indicating that individuals with higher emotional well-being tend to perceive their relationships as more high-quality and stable despite being physically separated. Keywords: emotional well-being, relationship quality, long-distance relationship, romantic partners, emerging adulthood
