Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sikap kerja sama peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila melalui penerapan metode Cooperative Learning tipe Index Card Match. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas V SD Kramat Pela 07 Kebayoran Baru, yang berjumlah 21 orang. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta angket sikap kerja sama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam sikap kerja sama peserta didik. Pada siklus I, persentase siswa yang menunjukkan sikap kerja sama berada pada angka 42,85%. Peningkatan terjadi pada siklus II sebesar 66,66%, dan mencapai 90,47% pada siklus III. Begitu pula dengan aktivitas guru dan siswa yang meningkat dari 80% dan 53% pada siklus I, menjadi 100% pada siklus III. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Index Card Match efektif dalam membangun partisipasi aktif, keberanian menyampaikan pendapat, serta tanggung jawab siswa dalam kegiatan kelompok. Dengan demikian, metode Index Card Match terbukti tidak hanya mampu meningkatkan pemahaman materi Pendidikan Pancasila, tetapi juga memperkuat nilai-nilai karakter seperti kerja sama, toleransi, dan tanggung jawab dalam proses pembelajaran. ***** This classroom action research aimed to enhance fifth-grade students’ collaboration skills in Civics Education by applying the Cooperative Learning model of the Index Card Match (ICM) type. The study was conducted at SD Kramat Pela 07 Kebayoran Baru with a total of 21 students as participants. The research was carried out in three cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection phases. Data were collected using observation sheets on teacher and student activities as well as a questionnaire to measure students’ collaboration attitudes. The findings indicate a significant improvement in students’ collaborative behavior. In the first cycle, only 42.85% of students demonstrated adequate collaboration, which increased to 66.66% in the second cycle, and finally reached 90.47% in the third cycle. Similarly, teacher and student activity scores rose from 80% and 53% respectively in the first cycle to 100% in the final cycle. These results demonstrate that the ICM method effectively fosters active participation, responsibility, and students’ willingness to express ideas during group activities. In conclusion, the Index Card Match method is proven to be an effective learning strategy not only for improving cognitive understanding of Civics content but also for strengthening essential character values such as cooperation, tolerance, and accountability among elementary school students.
