Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pembelajaran daring pada mata kuliah Kalam Mutaqoddim di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab Universitas Negeri Jakarta di era pasca pandemi COVID-19. Model evaluasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan studi dokumen. Sumber data diperoleh dari koordinator program studi, dosen pengampu mata kuliah Kalam Mutaqoddim, dan mahasiswa tingkat dua program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada aspek konteks, latar belakang terjadinya pembelajaran daring adalah karena terbatasnya ruang kelas akibat pembangunan gedung perkuliahan yang belum selesai, sehingga sebagian perkuliahan masih dilaksanakan secara daring meskipun masa pandemi telah usai. Kebijakan pembelajaran daring ditetapkan sebagai solusi keterbatasan ruang kelas, dengan tujuan pembelajaran yang telah disesuaikan namun belum sepenuhnya ideal bagi pengembangan keterampilan berbicara. Pada aspek input, dosen cukup kompeten dalam bidangnya, namun kesiapan mahasiswa masih kurang karena beberapa kendala, seperti keterbatasan perangkat, akses internet yang tidak stabil, kurangnya motivasi belajar mandiri, serta lingkungan rumah yang kurang kondusif untuk belajar secara fokus. Pada aspek proses, pembelajaran daring dilakukan dengan menggunakan berbagai metode dan media digital, namun interaksi antara dosen dan mahasiswa masih terbatas dan aktivitas praktik berbicara masih kurang optimal. Pada aspek produk, pembelajaran daring dinilai cukup berhasil dalam menyampaikan materi teori tentang kalam, namun mahasiswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam pengembangan keterampilan berbicara secara spontan. Tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa menunjukkan bahwa meskipun pembelajaran daring memberikan fleksibilitas, sebagian besar mahasiswa berharap pembelajaran Kalam Mutaqoddim dapat dilaksanakan secara luring agar mampu meningkatkan efektivitas keterampilan berbicara. Saran untuk peneliti selanjutnya adalah agar dapat melakukan kajian lanjutan dengan cakupan yang lebih luas, seperti membandingkan efektivitas pembelajaran daring dan luring pada mata kuliah Kalam Mutaqoddim atau mengevaluasi implementasi model pembelajaran tertentu untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara mahasiswa secara spesifik. Kata Kunci: Evaluasi, Pembelajaran Daring, Kalam ***** This study aims to evaluate online learning in the Kalam Mutaqoddim course within the Arabic Language Education Program at the State University of Jakarta during the post-COVID-19 era. The evaluation model used in this study is the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product). A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis. Data sources consisted of the program coordinator, course instructor, and second-year students of the Arabic Language Education Program. The findings reveal that in terms of context, online learning continued due to the limited availability of classrooms as the new campus building was still under construction, leading to some classes remaining online despite the pandemic's end. Online learning was adopted as a solution to the space limitation, with learning objectives being adjusted—though not yet ideal—for developing speaking skills. Regarding input, lecturers were sufficiently competent in their fields, but student readiness remained low due to various challenges, such as lack of adequate devices, unstable internet access, low motivation for independent learning, and home environments that were not conducive to focused study. In the process aspect, online learning was conducted using various digital methods and media, yet interaction between lecturers and students remained limited, and speaking practice activities were not optimally implemented. In terms of product, online learning was considered moderately successful in delivering theoretical knowledge on kalam, but students still struggled with developing spontaneous speaking skills. Student satisfaction indicated that while online learning offered flexibility, most students hoped for face-to-face classes for the Kalam Mutaqoddim course to better enhance their speaking skills. Suggestions for future researchers include conducting further studies with a broader scope, such as comparing the effectiveness of online and offline learning in the Kalam Mutaqoddim course or evaluating the implementation of specific learning models to enhance students' speaking skills more specifically.
