Abstract
Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka berbasis riset di Indonesia menghadapi tantangan kompleks, khususnya dalam mengakomodasi siswa dari daerah tertinggal dengan heterogenitas latar belakang yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis manajemen Kurikulum Merdeka berbasis riset di SMA GenIUS dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas implementasinya pada siswa dari Indonesia Timur. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus di SMA GenIUS, melibatkan kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, 15 guru, dan observasi terhadap implementasi program Re-Search. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen kurikulum. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen Kurikulum Merdeka berbasis riset di SMA GenIUS meliputi empat tahap utama: perencanaan dengan pemetaan level inkuiri melalui tes diagnostik, pengorganisasian pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dalam kelas, implementasi program Re-Search dengan empat level inquiry (confirmation, structured, guided, open), dan evaluasi holistik menggunakan rubrik dan asesmen STS. Faktor pendukung meliputi sistem dokumentasi berbasis data, kolaborasi dengan perguruan tinggi, dan komitmen manajemen sekolah. Sedangkan faktor penghambat adalah heterogenitas kemampuan siswa dalam satu kelas dan kebutuhan modul pembelajaran terstruktur. Implementasi program Re-Search meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dan literasi riset, dengan tingkat keterlibatan siswa. ***** The implementation of the research-based Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia faces complex challenges, particularly in accommodating students from disadvantaged areas with highly heterogeneous backgrounds. This study aims to analyze the management of the research-based Merdeka Curriculum at GenIUS High School and identify factors that influence its effectiveness among students from Eastern Indonesia. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study at SMA GenIUS, involving the school principal, vice principal, 15 teachers, and observations of the implementation of the Re-Search program. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and curriculum document analysis. Data is analyzed using Miles & Huberman's thematic analysis technique. The research results indicate that research-based Merdeka Curriculum management at GenIUS High School consists of four main stages: planning with inquiry level mapping through diagnostic tests, organizing differentiated learning in the classroom, implementing the Re-Search program with four inquiry levels (confirmation, structured, guided, open), and holistic evaluation using rubrics and STS assessments. Supporting factors include a data-based documentation system, collaboration with universities, and school management commitment. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the heterogeneity of students' abilities within a class and the need for structured learning modules. The implementation of the Re-Search program improves students' critical thinking skills and research literacy, with a high level of student engagement.
