Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara academic burnout terhadap prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional dan uji hipotesis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua instrumen, yaitu Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS) untuk mengukur academic burnout, dan Pure Procrastination Scale (PPS) untuk mengukur prokrastinasi akademik. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 251 mahasiswa aktif semester 4, 6, dan 8 dari berbagai fakultas di Universitas Negeri Jakarta, yang diperoleh melalui teknik convenience sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada academic burnout terhadap prokrastinasi akademik. Artinya, semakin tinggi tingkat burnout yang dialami mahasiswa, maka semakin tinggi pula kecenderungan mereka untuk menunda tugas akademik. Kata Kunci: academic burnout, prokrastinasi akademik, mahasiswa, UNJ. **** This study aims to determine the effect of academic burnout on academic procrastination among students at Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The research employs a quantitative method with a correlational approach, and hypothesis testing is conducted using simple linear regression. Data collection was carried out using two instruments: the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS) to measure academic burnout and the Pure Procrastination Scale (PPS) to measure academic procrastination. The sample consisted of 251 active students from the 4th, 6th, and 8th semesters across various faculties at Universitas Negeri Jakarta, selected using a convenience sampling technique. The results of the study indicate that academic burnout has a significant effect on academic procrastination. In other words, the higher the level of academic burnout experienced by students, the more likely they are to delay their academic tasks.
