Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah perempuan yang memutuskan untuk tetap bekerja setelah menikah menimbulkan fenomena peran ganda, yakni sebagai ibu rumah tangga sekaligus wanita karier. Kondisi ini rentan menimbulkan konflik antara tuntutan pekerjaan dan peran dalam keluarga, atau yang dikenal sebagai work-family conflict. Salah satu faktor yang dapat mengurangi tingkat konflik ini adalah adanya spousal support atau dukungan dari pasangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara spousal support dengan work-family conflict pada ibu yang bekerja. Rumusan masalah yang diajukan adalah apakah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara spousal support dengan work-family conflict. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 100 ibu bekerja yang berstatus menikah dan berdomisili di DKI Jakarta, dengan usia pernikahan minimal satu tahun. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara accidental sample. Pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas dilakukan sebelum analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara spousal support dan work-family conflict pada ibu yang bekerja. Artinya, semakin tinggi dukungan yang diberikan oleh pasangan, maka semakin rendah tingkat konflik peran antara pekerjaan dan keluarga yang dirasakan oleh ibu bekerja. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peran pasangan dalam membantu ibu bekerja mengelola keseimbangan antara peran domestik dan profesional. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi keluarga dan pasangan suami istri, terutama dalam hal membangun komunikasi dan kolaborasi yang sehat untuk mendukung kesejahteraan keluarga. ***** The increasing number of women who choose to continue working after marriage has led to the phenomenon of dual roles, namely as homemakers and career women. This situation is prone to causing conflicts between work demands and family roles, or what is known as work-family conflict. One factor that can reduce the level of this conflict is spousal support or support from one's spouse. This study aims to determine the relationship between spousal support and work-family conflict among working mothers. The research question posed is whether there is a significant relationship between spousal support and work-family conflict. This study employs a quantitative approach using a correlational method. The sample consists of 100 working mothers who are married and reside in Jakarta, with a minimum marriage duration of one year. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling. spousal support.Validity and reliability testing was conducted prior to data analysis using Pearson Product Moment correlation techniques. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant negative relationship between spousal support and work-family conflict among working mothers. This means that the higher the level of support provided by the spouse, the lower the level of role conflict between work and family experienced by working mothers. This finding underscores the importance of the spouse's role in helping working mothers manage the balance between domestic and professional roles. This study has practical implications for families and married couples, particularly in terms of building healthy communication and collaboration to support family well-being.
