Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat terdapat atau tidaknya pengaruh model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) terhadap kecerdasan emosional siswa kelas IV SD pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dengan bentuk Posttest Only Control Group Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dan terpilih secara acak SDN Karang Tengah 11. Kelas IV A terpilih sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IV B sebagai kelas kontrol yang masing-masing berjumlah 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner kecerdasan emosional yang berbentuk skala Likert. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji independent sample t-test dengan taraf signifikan 0,05. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 ≤ 0,05, yang berarti H₀ ditolak dan Hₐ diterima. Penerapan model Teams Games Tournament pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dapat memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kecerdasan emosional siswa kelas IV di SDN Kelurahan Karang Tengah, Kota Tangerang. **** This study aims to determine the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model on the emotional intelligence of fourth-grade elementary school students in the Pancasila Education subject. This research is a quantitative experimental study using a Posttest Only Control Group Design. The sampling technique employed was simple random sampling, and SDN Karang Tengah 11 was randomly selected. Class IV A was designated as the experimental group, and Class IV B as the control group, with 30 students in each class. Data were collected using an emotional intelligence questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale. The data were analyzed using an independent sample t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.001 ≤ 0.05, indicating that H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. The implementation of the Teams Games Tournament model in Pancasila Education had a positive effect on the emotional intelligence of fourth grade students at SDN Karang Tengah, Kota Tangerang.
