Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh employability skills dan adversity quotient terhadap kesiapan kerja pada freshgraduate. Penelitian ini didasari oleh tingginya ketidaksiapan lulusan dalam menghadapi dunia kerja yang menuntut keterampilan praktis dan ketangguhan mental. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode regresi linier berganda. Sampel berjumlah 172 responden freshgraduate yang berdomisili di wilayah Jabodetabek, dengan rentang usia 20–24 tahun dan masa kelulusan antara 6 bulan hingga 3 tahun terakhir. Instrumen yang digunakan merupakan skala employability skills, adversity quotient, dan kesiapan kerja yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan (p-value <0.05) employability skills dan adversity quotient secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja pada fresh graduate. Namun, secara parsial hanya employability skills yang memberikan pengaruh signifikan (p-value <0.05) terhadap kesiapan kerja, sementara adversity quotient tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan (p-value >0.05). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa keterampilan kerja yang aplikatif seperti komunikasi, kerja tim, dan pemecahan masalah memiliki kontribusi lebih besar terhadap kesiapan kerja lulusan baru dibandingkan ketahanan psikologis. This research is based on the high unpreparedness of graduates in facing the world of work, which demands practical skills and mental toughness. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression methods. The sample amounted to 172 fresh graduate respondents who live in the Jabodetabek area, with an age range of 20-24 years and a graduation period between the last 6 months and 3 years. We used employability skills, adversity quotient, and work readiness scales, all of which have undergone validity and reliability tests. The results of the analysis show that simultaneously (p-value < 0.05), employability skills and adversity quotient have a significant effect on work readiness. However, partially only employability skills have a significant effect (p-value < 0.05) on work readiness, while adversity quotient has no significant effect (p-value > 0.05). This finding indicates that employability skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving make a greater contribution to new graduates' work readiness than psychological endurance.
