Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran perilaku overprotektif pada remaja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah metode pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengambilan data menggunakan angket (kuesioner). Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah skala overprotektif. Populasi yang ditujukan pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh remaja yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan perempuan, berusia 18-21 tahun, serta berdomisili di Bangka Belitung. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Adapun jumlah sampel yang didapatkan sebanyak 185 orang. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistik kuantitatif deskriptif. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa perilaku overprotektif orang tua berada pada kategori sedang. The research method employed a quantitative approach, with data collection using a questionnaire. The measurement tool used was the overprotectiveness scale. The target population was all adolescents, both male and female, aged 18-21, residing in Bangka Belitung. Purposive sampling was used to select 185 individuals. Data analysis employed descriptive quantitative statistics. The analysis concluded that parental overprotective behavior was moderate. Keywords: Overprotective Behavior, Parents, and Adolescents
