Abstract

Persaingan dalam dunia kerja yang semakin ketat mendorong mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan daya saing melalui pengembangan kemampuan sejak dini. Novo Club hadir sebagai organisasi mahasiswa berskala nasional yang menawarkan program pengembangan diri melalui pendekatan learning organization. Penelitian ini berfokus pada strategi yang diterapkan Novo Club dalam membentuk lingkungan belajar yang mendukung pengembangan kapasitas serta untuk menganalisis bagaimana proses belajar kolektif dan pertukaran sosial terjadi dalam organisasi ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan delapan informan yang terdiri dari Presiden, pengurus, dan anggota Novo Club, dengan inisial HA, MJ, RS, SA, YS, NA, CT, dan GF. Data tambahan diperoleh melalui observasi terhadap media sosial Novo Club seperti Instagram, TikTok, dan LinkedIn, serta studi dokumentasi dan literatur. Penelitian dilakukan secara daring melalui platform Zoom Meeting dan berlangsung pada periode Desember 2024 hingga Februari 2025. Triangulasi data pada penelitian ini dengan membandingkan informasi dari berbagai peran informan serta mencocokkannya dengan hasil observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan teori Learning Organization dari Peter M. Senge dan teori Pertukaran Sosial dari Peter M. Blau Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Novo Club menerapkan strategi sistematis dalam menjalankan perannya sebagai learning organization, mulai dari riset kebutuhan, penanaman nilai, hingga pelaksanaan kegiatan berbasis kolaborasi. Kegiatan learning dan project Novo Club terbukti berdampak pada peningkatan kemampuan anggota. Namun demikian, pelaksanaan kegiatan juga menghadapi tantangan berupa keterbatasan sumber daya, beban waktu pengurus, dan ketimpangan regional sehingga diperlukan evaluasi berkelanjutan agar implementasinya lebih merata dan berdaya guna. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa pertukaran sosial dalam Novo Club berlangsung secara timbal balik dan dinamis melalui kerangka learning organization yang memperkuat hubungan organisasi dan anggotanya, namun relasi tersebut juga memunculkan ketimpangan akses dan resistensi sosial sehingga diperlukan strategi yang lebih inklusif dan adaptif untuk menjaga keberlanjutan organisasi. ***** The increasing competition in the job market has encouraged university students to enhance their competitiveness by developing their skills early on. Novo Club emerges as a national-scale student organization that offers personal development programs through a learning organization approach. This study focuses on the strategies implemented by Novo Club in creating a learning environment that supports capacity development and analyzes how collective learning and social exchange occur within the organization. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with eight informants, including the President, board members, and general members of Novo Club, identified by the initials HA, MJ, RS, SA, YS, NA, CT, and GF. Additional data were obtained through observation of Novo Club's social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn as document analysis and literature study. The research was conducted online via Zoom Meetings from December 2024 to February 2025. Data triangulation was carried out by comparing information from various informants' roles and verifying it with observational and documentary evidence. This study is grounded in Peter M. Senge’s Learning Organization theory and Peter M. Blau’s Social Exchange theory. The findings indicate that Novo Club implements a systematic strategy in fulfilling its role as a learning organization, starting from needs assessment and value internalization to the execution of collaborative activities. Novo Club's learning and project-based programs have proven effective in enhancing members’ capabilities. However, the implementation also faces challenges, such as limited resources, time constraints for board members, and regional disparities, requiring continuous evaluation to ensure more equitable and impactful execution. The study also finds that social exchange in Novo Club occurs in a reciprocal and dynamic manner through the framework of a learning organization, which strengthens the relationship between the organization and its members. Nevertheless, this relationship also gives rise to access inequalities and social resistance, thereby necessitating more inclusive and adaptive strategies to ensure the organization’s sustainability.
