Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Implementasi Gerakan Literasi Sekolah dalam Peningkatan Minat Baca Peserta Didik. Sub fokus penelitian ini adalah sosialisasi, pelaksanaan, monitoring dan evaluasi, dan dampak dampak dalam peningkatan minat baca peserta didik. penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan November 2024 hingga Juli 2025. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data diakukan melalui wawancara, observasim dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian ini meliputi kepala sekolah, koordinator tim literasi sekolah, guru mata pelajaran, dan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan GLS di SMP Negeri 16 Jakarta telah berjalan sesuai pedoman dengan tiga tahapan, yaitu tahap pembiasaan, pengembangan, dan pembelajaran. Pada tahap pembiasaan literasi dilakuka dengan membiasakan peserta didik membaca buku non pelajaran setiap pagi selama 15 menit sebelum proses belajar mengajar dimulai. Pada tahap pengembangan dilakukan dengan kegiatan meringkas bacaan, mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler lomba membaca puisi, lomba mendongeng, serta kunjungan ke perpustakaan. Pada tahap pembelajaran literasi diintegrasikan ke dalam proses belajar mengajar bukan hanya di mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia tetapi mata pelajaran lain juga terintegrasi. Selain itu, pelaksanaan GLS di SMP Negeri 16 Jakarta juga didukung sarana dan prasarana yang memadai. Pelaksanaan monitoring dan evaluasi Gerakan Literasi Sekolah di SMP Negeri 16 Jakarta telah berjalan secara rutin dan terstruktur untuk memastikan seluruh program literasi berjalan sesuai dengan tujuan. Pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah di SMP Negeri 16 Jakarta dilaksanakan cukup baik dalam meningkatkan minat baca, keberanian berbicara dan keterampilan peserta didik. ***** This study aims to find out the Implementation of the School Literacy Movement in Increasing Students' Interest in Reading. The sub-focus of this research is socialization, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and the impact of impact on increasing students' interest in reading. This research was conducted from November 2024 to July 2025. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection was acknowledged through interviews, observations, and documentation. The informants of this research include school principals, school literacy team coordinators, subject teachers, and students. The results of the study show that the implementation of GLS at SMP Negeri 16 Jakarta has been carried out according to the guidelines with three stages, namely the stages of habituation, development, and learning. At the literacy habituation stage, it is done by getting students used to reading non-lesson books every morning for 15 minutes before the teaching and learning process begins. At the development stage, it is carried out by summarizing readings, participating in extracurricular activities, poetry reading competitions, storytelling competitions, and visits to the library. At the learning stage, literacy is integrated into the teaching and learning process, not only in Indonesian subjects but also in other subjects as well. In addition, the implementation of GLS at SMP Negeri 16 Jakarta is also supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure. The implementation of monitoring and evaluation of the School Literacy Movement at SMP Negeri 16 Jakarta has been running regularly and structured to ensure that all literacy programs run in accordance with the objectives. The implementation of the School Literacy Movement at SMP Negeri 16 Jakarta was carried out quite well in increasing students' interest in reading, courage to speak and skills.
