Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hasil-hasil penelitian terdahulu yang membahas efektivitas penggunaan video pembelajaran musik dan gerak dalam mengembangkan motorik kasar anak usia 5–6 tahun. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan dari 20 artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan dalam kurun waktu lima tahun terakhir dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan komparatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas artikel menyatakan video pembelajaran berbasis musik dan gerak efektif dalam meningkatkan berbagai aspek motorik kasar anak, seperti ketepatan gerakan, koordinasi tubuh, keseimbangan, kelincahan, serta respon terhadap ritme musik. Selain itu, video juga terbukti mendorong inisiatif gerak mandiri serta keterlibatan emosional dan sosial anak selama kegiatan berlangsung. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa efektivitas media video sangat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas konten, peran guru dalam pelaksanaan, serta keterpaduan dengan kurikulum. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa video pembelajaran musik dan gerak merupakan media yang potensial dan relevan untuk diintegrasikan dalam proses pembelajaran anak usia dini guna mengoptimalkan perkembangan motorik kasar secara menyeluruh. ***** This study aims to analyze previous research findings on the effectiveness of music and movement-based instructional videos in developing gross motor skills in children aged 5–6 years. The research employed a literature review method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected from 20 scientific articles published within the last five years and analyzed using descriptive and comparative techniques. The analysis revealed that most studies reported that video-based learning incorporating music and movement effectively enhances various aspects of gross motor development in young children, including movement accuracy, body coordination, balance, agility, and responsiveness to musical rhythm. Additionally, the videos were shown to foster children's independent motor initiative as well as emotional and social engagement during activities. The study also found that the effectiveness of instructional videos depends heavily on content quality, the teacher's role in implementation, and integration with the early childhood curriculum. This research concludes that music and movement-based instructional videos are a relevant and promising medium to be integrated into early childhood education to optimize holistic gross motor development.
