Abstract
Di era digital yang terus berkembang, teknologi telah menjadi kekuatan utama dalam mengubah cara peserta didik belajar dan tenaga pendidik mengajar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan Digital Worksheet Ecosystem (DWE) berbasis TASC (Thinking Actively in Social Context) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan keterampilan komunikasi siswa pada materi ekosistem. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Educational Design Research dengan model pengembangan Hannafin dan Peck, (1998) yang mencakup tahap analisis kebutuhan, desain, pengembangan, dan implementasi. Intrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar validasi ahli, angket penilian guru, angket respon peserta didik, serta instrumen tes untuk kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan keterampilan komunikasi.Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media, sedangkan uji coba dilakukan secara terbatas (kelompok kecil) dan luas (kelompok besar) pada peserta didik kelas X SMAS Yadika 10 Kosambi. Uji MANOVA menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan (p < 0,01) antara kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen. Nilai rata-rata N-gain kemampuan berpikir kreatif adalah 0,70 (kategori cukup efektif), sedangkan keterampilan komunikasi mencapai N-gain 0,52 (kategori kurang efektif). Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa DWE berbasis TASC yang dikembangkan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa, meskipun dampaknya terhadap keterampilan komunikasi masih perlu ditingkatkan. DWE ini dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam pembelajaran Biologi berbasis digital yang interaktif dan kontekstual. Dengan demikian DWE berbasis TASC layak digunakan dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan keteampilan komunikasi siswa. ***** In the rapidly evolving digital era, technology has become a major force in transforming the way students learn and educators teach. This study aims to develop a Digital Worksheet Ecosystem (DWE) based on the Thinking Actively in a Social Context (TASC) approach to enhance students’ creative thinking and communication skills in the topic of ecosystems. The research employed an Educational Design Research method using the Hannafin and Peck (1998) development model, which consists of the stages of needs analysis, design, development, and implementation. The instruments used included expert validation sheets, teacher evaluation questionnaires, student response questionnaires, as well as test instruments to assess creative thinking and communication skills. Validation was carried out by subject matter experts and media experts, while trials were conducted on a small scale (limited group) and a large scale (extended group) involving tenth-grade students at SMAS Yadika 10 Kosambi. The MANOVA test results indicated a significant difference (p < 0.01) between the control and experimental groups. The average N-gain score for creative thinking skills was 0.70 (categorized as moderately effective), while communication skills achieved an N- gain score of 0.52 (categorized as less effective). The results suggest that the developed TASC-based DWE is effective in improving students’ creative thinking skills, although its impact on communication skills requires further enhancement. This DWE offers an innovative solution for interactive and contextual digital-based Biology learning. Therefore, the TASC-based DWE is deemed feasible for use and has the potential to enhance students’ creative thinking and communication skills.
