Abstract

Penelitian korelasional ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan persepsi siswa tentang berpikir kreatif dengan keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi siswa kelas IV SD Negeri di Kelurahan Tebet Timur. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri di Kelurahan Tebet Timur Jakarta Selatan sebanyak 56 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode korelasional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan instrumen tes dan angket. instrumen angket untuk mengukur persepsi siswa tentang berpikir kreatif, sedangkan instrumen tes digunakan untuk mengukur keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi siswa. Hasil penelitian memberikan hasil bahwa persepsi siswa tentang berpikir kreatif memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi siswa kelas IV SD. Sumbangan efektif yang diberikan oleh variabel persepsi siswa tentang berpikir kreatif terhadap variabel keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi sebesar 55,4% dan sisanya sebanyak 44,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa semakin tinggi persepsi siswa tentang berpikir kreatif siswa maka akan semakin tinggi keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi. ***** This correlational study aims to determine the relationship between students' perceptions of creative thinking and the writing skills of descriptive texts of grade IV SD Negeri students in Tebet Timur Village. The sample in this study were 56 fourth grade students of SD Negeri in Tebet Timur Urban Village, South Jakarta. Sampling using simple random sampling technique. The method used in this research is correlational method. The questionnaire instrument was used to measure students' perceptions about creative thinking, while the test instrument was used to measure students' description text writing skills. The results showed that students' perceptions of creative thinking had a positive and significant relationship with the writing skills of fourth grade students. The effective contribution given by the variable of students' perceptions of creative thinking to the variable of description text writing skills is 55.4% and the remaining 44.6% is influenced by other factors. So it can be said that the higher the student's perception of creative thinking, the higher the skill of writing description text.
