Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan minat belajar dengan prokrastinasi akademik siswa kelas V SD di Kelurahan Rawa Buaya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasional. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Rawa Buaya 07 dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling yang berjumlah 127 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengukur minat belajar dan prokrastinasi akademik siswa. Hasil analisis data menunujukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara minat belajar dan prokrastinasi akademik siswa kelas V SDN Rawa Buaya 07. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi pearson product moment, diperoleh nilai -0,684, yang berarti terdapat hubungan negatif yang kuat antara minat belajar dan prokrastinasi akademik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi minat belajar maka akan semakin rendah prokrastinasi akademik. Dengan demikian, minat belajar merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang memengaruhi perilaku peokrastinasi akademik. Adapun hasil koefisien determinasi diperoleh nilai R square = 0,467 yang kemudian diubah ke dalam bentuk persen menjadi 46,7%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa besarnya pengaruh minat belajar dengan prokrastinasi akademik sebesar 46,7% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Oleh karena itu diperlukan peran guru dan orang tua dalam upaya meningkatkan minat belajar siswa, agar perilaku prokrastinasi siswa menurun. ***** This study aims to determine the relationship between learning interest and academic procrastination of fifth-grade elementary school students in Rawa Buaya Village. The type of research used is quantitative correlational. The sample in this study were fifth-grade students of SDN Rawa Buaya 07 with sampling using cluster random sampling technique totaling 127 students. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire to measure students' learning interest and academic procrastination. The results of data analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between learning interest and academic procrastination of fifth-grade students of SDN Rawa Buaya 07. Based on the results of the Pearson product moment correlation test, a value of -0.684 was obtained, which means there is a strong negative relationship between learning interest and academic procrastination. This shows that the higher the learning interest, the lower the academic procrastination. Thus, learning interest is one of the important factors that influence academic procrastination behavior. The results of the coefficient of determination obtained an R square value of 0.467 which was then converted into a percentage form to 46.7%. This indicates that the influence of learning interest on academic procrastination is 46.7%, with the remainder influenced by other factors. Therefore, teachers and parents need to play a role in increasing students' learning interest and reducing procrastination.
