Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi sumatif terhadap lima aplikasi media pembelajaran berbasis augmented reality (AR) dalam pembelajaran materi sistem tata surya di kelas VI SD Negeri Planjan 02, Kabupaten Cilacap. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VI yang berjumlah 13 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi angket, observasi, dokumentasi, serta pre-test dan post-test. Hasil angket menunjukkan respon peserta didik terhadap media AR sangat baik, dengan persentase sebesar 93,51%. Hasil observasi menunjukkan keterlibatan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran tergolong sangat tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 88,46%. Selain itu, terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan, ditunjukkan dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 56,15 dan nilai rata-rata post-test sebesar 80,38. Meskipun terdapat beberapa kendala teknis seperti keterbatasan spesifikasi perangkat serta kondisi kelas yang kurang kondusif, secara keseluruhan media AR dinilai efektif dan layak digunakan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran IPA di tingkat sekolah dasar, khususnya untuk materi yang bersifat abstrak seperti sistem tata surya. ***** This research aims to conduct a summative evaluation of five Android-based Augmented Reality (AR) learning media applications used in teaching the solar system topic in science lessons for sixth-grade students at SD Negeri Planjan 02, Cilacap Regency. The research employed a descriptive approach with both quantitative and qualitative methods. The subjects were all 13 students in the sixth grade. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, observation, documentation, as well as pre-test and post-test. The questionnaire results showed that students' responses to the AR media were very positive, with a percentage of 93.51%. Observation results indicated a high level of student engagement during the learning process, with an average score of 88.46%. Moreover, there was a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes, as reflected in the increase from an average pre-test score of 56.15 to an average post-test score of 80.38. Despite several technical constraints such as limited device specifications and less conducive classroom conditions, the AR media proved to be effective and feasible as an alternative instructional tool for elementary-level science education, particularly for abstract concepts like the solar system..
