Abstract

Tesis ini merupakan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di SDN Jurang Mangu Timur 03 untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dalam menulis teks narasi fiksi melalui penerapan model Project Based Learning. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas IV SDN Jurang Mangu Timur 03 dalam menulis narasi fiksi yang diukur dengan indikator kelancaran (fluency), keluwesan (flexbility), orisinal (originality) dan pengembangan (elaboration). Data awal menunjukkan hanya 10% peserta didik yang memiliki nilai berpikir kreatif di atas KKTP (70) dengan nilai rata-rata kelas sebesar 57. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri atas tiga siklus, masing-masing mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 29 peserta didik kelas IV dan 1 guru kolaborator. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes dan lembar pengamatan aktivitas guru dan peserta didik. Data dianalisis berdasarkan hasil observasi, catatan lapangan, dan dokumen pendukung lainnya. Analisis data kuantitatif juga digunakan dalam bentuk analisis statistik deskriptif untuk menganalisis data berupa rata-rata, persentase, atau peningkatan sebelum dan sesudah tindakan. Teknik validitas data yang digunakan berupa triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang bertahap dan signifikan yaitu hanya 10% siswa yang memperoleh nilai ≥70 pada pra-siklus, meningkat menjadi 45% pada Siklus I, 62% pada Siklus II, dan 86% pada Siklus III. Aktivitas guru dan peserta didik juga mengalami peningkatan. Aktivitas guru meningkat dari siklus 1, siklus 2 dan siklus 3 secara berturut-turut : 91%, 96% dan 100%. Selain aktivitas guru, aktivitas peserta didik juga meningkat dari 82% pada siklus 1, menjadi 90 % pada siklus 2 dan 96% pada siklus 3. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Project-Based Learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dalam menulis teks narasi fiksi pada peserta didik kelas IV SDN Jurang Mangu Timur 03. ***** This thesis presents the results of a study conducted at SDN Jurang Mangu Timur 03 aimed at improving students' creative thinking skills in writing fictional narrative texts through the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model. The research was motivated by the low creative thinking skills of fourth-grade students at the school, as measured by the indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Initial data showed that only 10% of the students had creative thinking scores above the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) of 70, with an average class score of 57. The study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design consisting of three cycles, each comprising the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects included 29 fourth-grade students and one collaborating teacher. Data were collected through tests and observation sheets on teacher and student activities. Data analysis was conducted based on observations, field notes, and other supporting documents. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to examine averages, percentages, and improvements before and after the intervention. Data validity was ensured through data triangulation. The results revealed a gradual and significant improvement in students’ creative thinking skills: only 10% of students scored ≥70 in the pre-cycle, increasing to 45% in Cycle I, 62% in Cycle II, and 86% in Cycle III. Both teacher and student activities also showed improvements. Teacher activity scores increased from 91% in Cycle I to 96% in Cycle II and 100% in Cycle III. Likewise, student activity scores rose from 82% in Cycle I to 90% in Cycle II and 96% in Cycle III. These findings indicate that the Project-Based Learning model can effectively enhance the creative thinking skills of fourth-grade students at SDN Jurang Mangu Timur 03 in writing fictional narrative texts.
