Abstract
Penelitian korelasi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui data hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas 5 SDN Sukapura 02, Jakarta Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kuantitatif korelasional. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 91 siswa yang merupakan siswa kelas 5 di SDN Sukapura 02, Jakarta Utara. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen non tes berupa angket dan nilai rapor semester ganjil. Data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi product moment dan uji-t dengan menggunakan bantuan Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) Statistics 25 for windows. Hasil penelitian ini menginterpretasikan terdapat hubungan yang positif tidak signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas 5 dengan derajat korelasi rendah. Perhitungan koefisien determinasi diperoleh hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas 5 dipengaruhi oleh kecerdasan emosional sebesar 1,4%. Penelitian ini mengimplikasikan bahwa kecerdasan emosional berperan dalam hasil belajar Matematika dan perlu diperhatian dalam pembelajaran. ***** This correlational study aims to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN Sukapura 02 in North Jakarta. The research method employed is quantitative correlational analysis. The sample consisted of 91 fifth-grade students selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through non-test instruments, including a questionnaire and odd semester report card scores. The data were analyzed using the Pearson product-moment correlation test and t-test, with the assistance of Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) Statistics 25 for Windows. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive yet insignificant relationship between emotional intelligence and mathematics learning outcomes in grade 5, characterized by a low degree of correlation. The calculation of the coefficient of determination shows that the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students are influenced by emotional intelligence by 1,4%. These findings imply that emotional intelligence still plays a role in mathematics learning outcomes and should be taken into account in the learning process.
