Abstract

Metode inkuiri terbimbing merupakan suatu cara penyajian pembelajaran yang menekankan pada proses berpikir kritis untuk mencari dan menemukan jawaban atas permasalahan yang disampaikan guru. Pembelajaran inkuiri dapat mengembangkan pola pikir ilmiah yang membentuk siswa. Metode inkuiri terbimbing dipilih sebagai fokus penelitian karena potensinya dalam mendorong siswa untuk menjadi lebih aktif dan mandiri dalam belajar, sehingga minat belajar juga akan meningkat sambil tetap mendapatkan bimbingan yang diperlukan untuk memahami konsep-konsep yang kompleks. Penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi guru-guru lain dalam mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dan inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, khususnya dalam mata pelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar. ***** The guided inquiry method is a learning presentation method that emphasizes critical thinking to seek and find answers to problems presented by the teacher. Inquiry learning can develop scientific mindsets that shape students. The guided inquiry method was chosen as the focus of this research because of its potential to encourage students to be more active and independent in their learning, thereby increasing their learning interest while still receiving the necessary guidance to understand complex concepts. This research is also expected to provide practical contributions for other teachers in developing effective and innovative learning strategies to improve the quality of education, especially in science subjects in elementary schools.
