Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan toilet training pada siswa dengan autisme menggunakan video modelling dengan teknik demonstrasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah single subject research (SSR) dengan menggunakan desain A-B-A. Penelitian ini pada siswa kelas VI SD SLB Negeri 9 Jakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan beberapa tahapan yaitu observasi dan pelaksanaan metode A-B-A. Pada tahap observasi peneliti melakukan asesmen untuk mengetahui kemampuan anak dalam penggunaan toilet training. Pada tahap ini, anak belum mampu melakukan toilet training. Kemudian, pada tahap baseline pertama (A1) siswa praktik awal langkah toilet training buang air kecil tanpa diberikan bantuan. Tahap intervensi (B) siswa diberikan intervensi video modelling untuk meningkatkan keterampilan toilet training. Tahap baseline kedua (A2), siswa melakukan praktik toilet training buang air kecil setelah diberikan intervensi tanpa diberikan bantuan, untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari video modelling dan teknik demonstrasi. Hasil praktik tindakan toilet training dilakukan dengan 5 langkah. Setelah diberikan intervensi mengalami peningkatan pada setiap tahapannya. Pada tahap memberikan instruksi mengalami peningkatan 7-8 kali. Pada tahap melepaskan celana mengalami peningkatan 9-10 kali. Tahap menempatkan diri mengalami peningkatan 7-8 kali. Tahap membasuh kemaluan mengalami peningkatan 5-6 kali. Tahap memakai celana 8-9 kali. Overlap dari setiap langkah sebanyak 0%. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan dengan metode single subject research (SSR), peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan video modelling dengan teknik demonstrasi efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan toilet training. Kata Kunci : Keterampilan Toilet Training, Video Modelling, Single Subject Research, Anak dengan Autisme. ***** This study aims to improve toilet training skills in students with autism using video modeling with demonstration techniques. The method used is single subject research (SSR) using an A-B-A design. This study was conducted on sixth-grade students at SLB Negeri 9 Jakarta. Data collection techniques involved several stages, including observation and the implementation of the A-B-A method. During the observation stage, the researcher conducted an assessment to determine the child's ability to use toilet training. At this stage, the child was unable to perform toilet training. Then, during the first baseline stage (A1), the student practiced the initial steps of toilet training for urination without assistance. During the intervention stage (B), the student was given video modeling intervention to improve toilet training skills. In the second baseline phase (A2), the students practiced toilet training for urination after receiving the intervention without assistance, to assess the impact of video modeling and demonstration techniques. The toilet training practice was conducted in five steps. After the intervention, improvements were observed in each phase. In the instruction phase, there was an improvement of 7-8 times. In the phase of removing pants, there was an improvement of 9-10 times. The positioning stage showed an improvement of 7-8 times. The washing stage showed an improvement of 5-6 times. The pants-wearing stage showed an improvement of 8-9 times. The overlap of each step was 0%. Based on the research conducted using the single subject research (SSR) method, the researcher concluded that the use of video modeling with demonstration techniques is effective in improving toilet training skills.
