Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi pendidikan karakter dan literasi moral di sekolah dasar, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaannya, serta dampaknya terhadap perkembangan karakter peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan menelaah sejumlah artikel ilmiah nasional dan internasional yang relevan, yang dipublikasikan dalam rentang waktu tertentu melalui bantuan aplikasi Publish or perish dengan database Google Scholar. Kriteria inklusi dalam pemilihan artikel meliputi fokus pada pendidikan karakter, literasi moral, serta konteks pendidikan dasar di Indonesia. Hasil telaah menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan karakter dan literasi moral dilakukan melalui berbagai pendekatan, seperti pembiasaan positif, keteladanan guru, integrasi nilai dalam pembelajaran, serta kegiatan literasi berbasis budaya sekolah. Faktor pendukung implementasi meliputi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, peran aktif guru, dukungan orang tua, serta tersedianya sarana prasarana yang memadai. Sementara itu, kendala utama yang dihadapi antara lain kurangnya pelatihan guru, rendahnya keterlibatan keluarga, dan keterbatasan fasilitas sekolah. Secara keseluruhan, pendidikan karakter dan literasi moral memberikan dampak positif terhadap pembentukan karakter, sikap dan perilaku peserta didik, seperti meningkatnya karakter disiplin, Jujur & tanggungjawab, Religius, bermoral & berakhlak mulia, toleransi, empati & kerjasama, serta mandiri, kreatif & percaya diri. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi sekolah, orang tua, dan pembuat kebijakan dalam mengembangkan strategi pendidikan karakter yang lebih efektif dan kontekstual di tingkat sekolah dasar.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Karakter, Literasi Moral, Sekolah Dasar, Implementasi, Systematic Literature Review ***** This study aims to examine the implementation of character education and moral literacy in elementary schools, as well as identify supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as their impact on student character development. The method used was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), which examined a number of relevant national and international scientific articles published within a specific timeframe using the Publish or Perish application and the Google Scholar database. Inclusion criteria for selecting articles included a focus on character education, moral literacy, and the context of elementary education in Indonesia. The review indicates that the implementation of character education and moral literacy is carried out through various approaches, such as positive habits, teacher role models, value integration in learning, and literacy activities based on school culture. Supporting factors for implementation include principal leadership, active teacher involvement, parental support, and the availability of adequate infrastructure. Meanwhile, the main obstacles faced include a lack of teacher training, low family involvement, and limited school facilities. Overall, character education and moral literacy have a positive impact on the development of students' character, attitudes, and behavior, such as increased discipline, honesty and responsibility, religiosity, morality and good character, tolerance, empathy and cooperation, as well as independence, creativity and self-confidence. This research is expected to serve as a reference for schools, parents, and policymakers in developing more effective and contextual character education strategies at the elementary school level.Keywords: Character Education, Moral Literacy, Elementary School, Implementation, Systematic Literature Review
