Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara efikasi diri dengan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) pada siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Setiabudi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Setiabudi dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 116 siswa yang diambil melalui teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan non tes berupa kuesioner efikasi diri dan tes berupa soal pilihan ganda hasil belajar IPS. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara efikasi diri dengan hasil belajar IPS siswa, yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,985 dan nilai signifikansi 6,079 > 1.658. Perhitungan koefisien determinasi diperoleh sebesar 97% artinya hasil belajar IPS ditentukan oleh efikasi diri sebesar 97% sisanya 3% ditentukan oleh faktor lain. Hal ini berarti semakin tinggi efikasi diri siswa, semakin tinggi pula hasil belajar IPS yang dicapai. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi bahwa guru perlu memperhatikan pengembangan efikasi diri siswa melalui pemberian motivasi, penguatan positif, dan strategi pembelajaran yang mendorong kepercayaan diri siswa. ***** This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and social studies learning outcomes among fourth-grade elementary school students in Setiabudi District. The research method used was quantitative with a correlational design. The study population consisted of all fourth-grade elementary school students in Setiabudi District, with a sample size of 116 students selected using cluster random sampling. The instruments used were non-test instruments in the form of a self-efficacy questionnaire and test instruments in the form of multiple-choice questions on social studies learning outcomes. The results of data analysis showed that there was a positive relationship between self-efficacy and social studies learning outcomes, as indicated by a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.985 and a significance value of 6.079 > 1.658. The coefficient of determination was calculated to be 97%, meaning that social studies learning outcomes are determined by self-efficacy by 97%, with the remaining 3% determined by other factors. This implies that the higher the students' self-efficacy, the higher the social studies learning outcomes achieved. This study suggests that teachers should focus on developing students' self-efficacy through motivation, positive reinforcement, and learning strategies that foster students' self-confidence.
