Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari oleh fenomena pergeseran pemahaman atas kegiatan menggambar yang mengakibatkan tingginya ekspektasi orang tua terhadap kemampuan menggambar usia 4-7 tahun. Berdasarkan hal tersebut peneliti mengembangkan produk manga/Komik Jepang “Gambarku ya Suka-suka Aku, Dong!” sebagai media yang diperuntukkan untuk orang tua dalam mengenalkan tahapan pra bagan yang termasuk dalam konsep periodisasi menggambar pada anak usia 4-7 tahun. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Sebelum produk ini digunakan, peneliti melakukan uji validitas yang menggunakan penilaian Skala Likert yang ditujukan pada ahli materi dan ahli media, sementara untuk penilaian Skala Guttman ditujukan untuk sepuluh orang tua di KB TK Aisyiyah 21 di bulan Juni. Hasil dari penilaian ahli materi terhadap kelayakan konten memperoleh persentase sebesar 91% sementara penilaian ahli media terkait produk secara teknis memperoleh persentase 100%, Adapun hasil uji coba kelayakan pada orang tua pada komponen media manga/komik Jepang dan komponen materi memperoleh keseluruhan persentase sebesar 94%. Berdasarkan hasil data tersebut, maka temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk manga/Komik Jepang “Gambarku ya Suka-suka Aku, Dong!” layak untuk digunakan karena memiliki manfaat sebagai media yang menunjang untuk mengenalkan tahapan pra bagan yang termasuk dalam konsep periodisasi menggambar pada anak usia 4-7 tahun bagi orang tua. ***** Based on the phenomenon of shifting perceptions of drawing activities, which has led to high expectations from parents regarding the drawing abilities of children aged 4–7 years, this study was motivated to develop a manga/Japanese comic book titled “Gambarku ya Suka-suka Aku, Dong!” as a medium for parents to introduce preschematic stages, which are part of the concept of drawing periodization. The method used in this study was Research and Development with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. In the pre-use phase, the researcher validated the product using Likert scale assessment for subject matter experts and media experts, and Guttman scale assessment targeted ten parents at Aisyiyah 21 Kindergarten in June. The results of the subject matter experts' evaluation of content suitability yielded a percentage of 91%, while the media experts' assessment of the product's technical aspects yielded a percentage of 100%. The results of the usability test on parents for the manga/Japanese comic book media component and the content component yielded a percentage of 94%. Based on these data, the research findings indicate that the Japanese manga/comic product “Gambarku ya Suka-suka Aku, Dong!” is suitable for use as it serves as a supportive medium for introducing the pre-schematic stages included in the concept of drawing periodization for children aged 4-7 years to parents.
