Abstract
Kemampuan literasi sosial peserta didik sekolah dasar masih memerlukan perhatian khusus, terlihat dari rendahnya kesadaran diri, bersikap individual, egois, mementingkan diri sendiri, memiliki sikap pesimis dan menunjukkan sifat mendominasi. Kondisi ini menunjukkan pentignya pendekatan pembelajaran yang tidak hanya bersifat konvesional melainkan, menanamkan nilai-nilai sosial sejak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan mobile learning berbasis problem-based learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sosial sekolah dasar. Penelitian dilaksanakan di salah satu sekolah dasar di Jawa Barat dengan melibatkan 30 peserta didik sebagai subjek penelitian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan research and development dengan model Hannafin & Peck yang mencakup tahap needs assessment, design, develop&implement. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan adalah observasi, wawancara dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan skala likert dan N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengembangan oleh ahli media 90,6% ahli materi 90% ahli bahasa 95,8% dalam kategori sangat layak serta uji coba pengguna one-to-one 90, 8% small group 94,4% dan field test 92,2%. Media yang dikembangkan terbukti efektif meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sosial dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,62 pada kategori sedang. Kata Kunci: Mobile learning, Problem Based Learning, Literasi Sosial, Sekolah Dasar/DEVELOPMENT OF MOBILE LEARNING MEDIA BY IMPLEMENTING PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING TO IMPROVE SOCIAL LITERACY SKILLS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ABSTRACT The social literacy skills of elementary school students still require special attention, as evidenced by their low self-awareness, individualistic attitudes, selfishness, self-centeredness, pessimism, and domineering behavior. This situation highlights the importance of an educational approach that is not only conventional but also instills social values from an early age. This study aims to develop mobile learning based on problem-based learning to improve the social literacy skills of elementary school students. The research was conducted at an elementary school in West Java, involving 30 students as research subjects. The research method used was research and development with the Hannafin & Peck model, which includes the stages of needs assessment, design, development, and implementation. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used Likert scale and N-Gain. The research results showed that the development by media experts was 90.6%, subject matter experts 90%, and language experts 95.8% in the “very suitable” category, as well as user testing: one-to-one 90.8%, small group 94.4%, and field test 92.2%. The developed media proved effective in enhancing social literacy skills with an N-Gain value of 0.62 in the moderate category.
