Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dampak kolonialisme terhadap psikologis tokoh utama dalam novel “Maa Tabaqqaa Lakum”. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis isi, pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan poskolonialisme sastra dengan menggunakan teori psikologis kolonialisme Frantz Fanon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Hamid mengalami dampak psikologis berupa trauma kolonial, alienasi, dan kompleks inferioritas dengan total 27 bukti. Sementara Maryam mengalami dampak serupa dengan total 28 bukti. Pada tokoh Hamid, terdapat 13 bukti dampak psikologis kolonialisme berupa trauma kolonial, 10 bukti pada alienasi, dan 4 bukti pada kompleks inferioritas. Adapun pada tokoh Maryam, ditemukan 15 bukti pada dampak psikologis kolonialisme trauma kolonial, 9 bukti pada alienasi, dan 4 bukti pada kompleks inferioritas. Adapun resistensi psikologis yang dialami Hamid terdapat 14 bukti dan Maryam terdapat 3 bukti. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa dampak kolonialisme yang paling banyak terlihat dalam psikologis Hamid adalah trauma kolonial, begitupun dengan Maryam. Adapun dalam hal resistensi psikologis, Hamid melakukan resistensi lebih banyak dibanding Maryam. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dominasi kolonial tidak hanya menciptakan penderitaan fisik, tetapi juga menyisakan luka psikologis yang mendalam bagi individu terjajah. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperluas wacana sastra poskolonialisme, serta menjadi rujukan bagi penelitian lanjutan di bidang studi sastra Arab modern. Kata kunci: Trauma Kolonial, Alienasi, Kompleks Inferioritas, Resistensi Psikologis, Ghassan Kanafani. ***** The purpose of this research is to analyze the psychological impact of colonialism on the main characters in the novel Maa Tabaqqaa Lakum. The research method used is content analysis, with a literary postcolonialism approach based on Frantz Fanon’s theory of psychology of colonialism. The findings show that Hamid experiences psychological effects in the form of colonial trauma, alienation, and inferiority complex, with a total of 27 evidence. Meanwhile, Maryam experiences similar effects, with a total of 28 evidence. Specifically, in the character Hamid, there are 13 evidence of colonial trauma, 10 of alienation, and 4 of inferiority complex. In the character Maryam, 15 evidence of colonial trauma, 9 of alienation, and 4 of inferiority complex are found. As for psychological resistance, 14 evidence are identified in Hamid and 3 evidence in Maryam. The research findings revealed that the most apparent psychological impact of colonialism on Hamid was colonial trauma, and the same applies to Maryam. As for psychological resistance, Hamid demonstrated a greater degree of resistance compared to Maryam. This study highlights that colonial domination not only causes physical suffering but also leaves deep psychological scars on the colonized individuals. The findings are expected to contribute to the discourse of postcolonial literature, and serve as a reference for further research in the field of modern Arabic literary studies.
