Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan operasi penjumlahan dan keterampilan sosial-emosional melalui metode bermain peran pada anak Kelompok B TK Bintang Kecil. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan operasi penjumlahan (83,33% kategori Belum Berkembang) dan keterampilan sosial-emosional (66,67% kategori Belum Berkembang) akibat penggunaan metode konvensional yang monoton. Penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas model Kemmis & McTaggart dengan subjek 6 anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dengan tema bermain perdagangan dan bank-bankan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan operasi penjumlahan dari TCP 17,5 (pra-siklus) menjadi 37,5 (siklus II), dan keterampilan sosial-emosional dari TCP 17,83 menjadi 37,33. Pada akhir siklus II, seluruh anak mencapai kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan, melampaui target keberhasilan 75%. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa metode bermain peran efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan operasi penjumlahan dan keterampilan sosial-emosional secara terintegrasi pada anak usia dini. **** This study aims to improve addition operation skills and social-emotional competencies through role-playing methods in Group B children at TK Bintang Kecil Kindergarten. The research was motivated by the low level of addition operation skills (83.33% in the Undeveloped category) and social-emotional competencies (66.67% in the Undeveloped category) due to the use of monotonous conventional methods. The study employed Classroom Action Research using the Kemmis & McTaggart model with 6 children aged 5-6 years as subjects. The research was conducted in 2 cycles with themes of trading and banking role-play. Data collection techniques included observation, field notes, and documentation. The results showed significant improvement in addition operation skills from TCP 17.5 (pre-cycle) to 37.5 (cycle II), and social-emotional competencies from TCP 17.83 to 37.33. At the end of cycle II, all children achieved the Developing as Expected category, exceeding the 75% success target. The study concludes that the role-playing method is effective in improving addition operation skills and social-emotional competencies in an integrated manner for early childhood.
