Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku merokok pada peserta didik hambatan intelektual ringan di lima Sekolah Khusus (SKh) wilayah Ciledug, Kota Tangerang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 peserta didik tunagrahita ringan dari total populasi 95 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, dengan kriteria usia remaja dan teridentifikasi sebagai perokok atau pernah merokok. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket berjenis skala Guttman. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran angket langsung kepada responden dan dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor internal, eksternal, dan psikologis secara keseluruhan mempengaruhi perilaku merokok peserta didik. Faktor eksternal, khususnya pengaruh teman sebaya dan keluarga, menjadi pemicu paling dominan. Disarankan kepada pihak sekolah dan orang tua untuk meningkatkan pengawasan dan memberikan edukasi tentang bahaya merokok sejak dini, khususnya bagi peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus. Kata Kunci: perilaku merokok, hambatan intelektual, faktor internal, faktor eksternal, survei kuantitatif. ***** This study aims to identify the factors influencing smoking behavior among students with mild intellectual disabilities in five Special Schools (SKh) located in Ciledug, Tangerang City. The sample consisted of 30 students with mild intellectual disabilities, selected from a total population of 95 students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, based on criteria such as adolescent age and smoking history. The research method employed was a survey with a quantitative approach. Data were collected using a Guttman-scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. The results showed that internal, external, and psychological factors all contribute to students’ smoking behavior. Among these, external factors—especially peer influence and family smoking habits—were the most dominant. It is recommended that schools and parents increase supervision and provide early education about the dangers of smoking, especially for students with special needs.
