Abstract

Minat baca merupakan fase awal yang penting bagi proses membaca pada anak usia prasekolah. Dengan demikian, penting untuk menumbuhkan minat baca anak prasekolah agar mendukung keberhasilan pembelajaran anak nantinya. Namun, pada kenyataannya minat baca di Indonesia masih sangat rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi dialogic reading dan efikasi diri orang tua terhadap minat baca anak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis jalur. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 92 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen yang terdiri dari implementasi dialogic reading (12 item), efikasi diri orang tua (16 item), minat baca anak (8 item) yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh langsung implementasi dialogic reading terhadap minat baca anak, pengaruh langsung implementasi dialogic reading terhadap efikasi diri orang tua dan pengaruh langsung efikasi diri orang tua terhadap minat baca anak.Kata Kunci : Minat baca anak, implementasi dialogic reading, efikasi diri orang tua ***** Reading interest is an important initial phase for the reading process in preschool children. Thus, it is important to foster preschool children's reading interest in order to support the success of children's learning later. However, in reality, reading interest in Indonesia is still very low.Study This aims to determine and analyze the effect of dialogic reading implementation and parental self-efficacy on children's reading interest. This study is a quantitative study with path analysis. The research sample was 92 people. Data collection was carried out using an instrument consisting of dialogic reading implementation (12 items), parental self-efficacy (16 items), children's reading interest (8 items) which have been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the study found that there was an effect of dialogic reading implementation on children's reading interest, dialogic reading implementation on parental self-efficacy and parental self-efficacy on children's reading interest.
