Abstract

Kata kunci: Occupational self-efficacy, internal locus of control, kecerdasan emosional, keterikatan kerja, organizational citizenship behavior.***** Organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) refers to voluntary individual behaviors that go beyond formal duties and responsibilities and thereby enhance organizational effectiveness. Organizations therefore need members who are willing to display such extra‑role behaviors. This study aims to examine, analyze, and develop a model of the effects of occupational self‑efficacy, internal locus of control, emotional intelligence, and work engagement on OCB among full‑time lecturers at Private Higher Education Institutions (Perguruan Tinggi Swasta, PTS) within LLDikti Region III Jakarta. The study employed an explanatory quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through a structured Likert‑type questionnaire. The sample comprised 391 PTS lecturers selected using multistage proportional cluster random sampling. Data were analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS version 24. The findings indicate that (1) occupational self‑efficacy, (2) internal locus of control, (3) emotional intelligence, and (4) work engagement each have a positive effect on OCB; (5) occupational self‑efficacy, (6) internal locus of control, and (7) emotional intelligence positively affect work engagement; and work engagement mediates the positive relationships between (8) occupational self‑efficacy, (9) internal locus of control, and (10) emotional intelligence and OCB. These findings contribute to the development of an OCB model by providing empirical evidence of the direct and indirect effects of these psychological variables through the mediating role of work engagement in the context of PTS lecturers. Keywords: Occupational self-efficacy, internal locus of control, emotional intelligence, work engagement, organizational citizenship behavior.
