Abstract

Setelah melalui perhitungan efektivitas, model permainan Softball untuk anak usia dini (7–8 tahun) dinyatakan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan melempar, menangkap, dan memukul bola.***** This study aimed to develop a Softball game model for early childhood (aged 7–8 years) focusing on improving manipulative motor skills. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The expert validation process resulted in 12 Softball game models, which were subsequently implemented with early childhood participants aged 7–8 years at RPTRA Anggrek, Cempaka Putih Timur, Central Jakarta. The final product of this study was a Softball game model book containing 12 variations of games that were deemed feasible for implementation. The results indicated a significant improvement in children’s manipulative motor skills. The average pre-test score increased from 46 to 75 in the post-test, showing an improvement of 29 points or a 63% increase in manipulative motor skill ability. Based on the effectiveness analysis, the Softball game model for early childhood (aged 7–8 years) was proven to be effective in enhancing throwing, catching, and hitting skills.
