Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar menulis teks pidato berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) menggunakan multimedia interaktif bagi peserta didik kelas XI. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, validasi, dan uji coba terbatas. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas XI SMK Kartika Jakarta yang ditentukan melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian meliputi angket analisis kebutuhan, lembar validasi ahli materi dan ahli media, serta tes kemampuan menulis teks pidato. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) analisis kebutuhan mengidentifikasi rendahnya minat dan kemampuan awal siswa dalam menulis teks pidato serta perlunya bahan ajar interaktif yang sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik; (2) bahan ajar yang dikembangkan memadukan komponen PjBL dengan multimedia interaktif berupa teks, audio, video, animasi, dan aktivitas proyek; (3) hasil validasi ahli materi dan ahli media menunjukkan kategori “sangat layak”; dan (4) hasil uji coba terbatas menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan menulis teks pidato, ditandai oleh peningkatan nilai posttest, hasil paired sample t-test dengan nilai Sig. 0,000 < 0,05, serta nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,6761 kategori sedang–tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar menulis teks pidato berbasis Project Based Learning dengan multimedia interaktif layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada peserta didik kelas XI. Produk yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman struktur teks pidato, keterampilan mengorganisasi gagasan, serta motivasi siswa selama proses menulis. ***** This research aims to develop speech text writing teaching materials based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) using interactive multimedia for grade XI students. This is a Research and Development (R&D) study employing the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases. The research subjects were grade XI students of SMK Kartika Jakarta, selected through purposive sampling. Research instruments included a needs analysis questionnaire, validation sheets for material and media experts, and speech text writing competency tests. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The results showed that: (1) the needs analysis identified low student interest and initial ability in speech writing, highlighting the necessity for interactive teaching materials suited to student characteristics; (2) the developed teaching materials integrate PjBL components with interactive multimedia, including text, audio, video, animation, and project-based activities; (3) validation results from material and media experts fell into the "highly feasible" category; and (4) limited trials showed a significant improvement in speech writing skills, indicated by increased post-test scores, paired sample t-test results with a Sig. value of 0.000 < 0.05, and an N-Gain score of 0.6761 in the moderate-to-high category. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the Project-Based Learning speech writing materials using interactive multimedia are feasible and effective for use as a learning medium for grade XI students. The developed product successfully enhances understanding of speech structures, organizational skills for ideas, and student motivation during the writing process.
