Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengalaman praktik kerja lapangan dan persepsi tentang bimbingan karier dengan wawasan dunia kerja siswa SMKN 72 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa fresh graduate tahun ajaran 2024/2025 sebanyak 129 siswa, dengan sampel 75 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment dan analisis regresi berganda menggunakan bantuan program IBM SPSS Statistics 27. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat hubungan positif dengan tingkat kekuatan lemah antara pengalaman praktik kerja lapangan dan wawasan dunia kerja siswa dengan nilai r = 0,447 dan kontribusi sebesar 20%; (2) terdapat hubungan positif dengan tingkat kekuatan sangat kuat antara persepsi tentang bimbingan karier dan wawasan dunia kerja dengan nilai r = 0,804 dan kontribusi sebesar 64,7%; serta (3) secara simultan, pengalaman praktik kerja lapangan dan persepsi tentang bimbingan karier memiliki hubungan positif dan tingkat kekuatan sangat kuat dengan wawasan dunia kerja siswa dengan nilai r = 0,823 dan kontribusi sebesar 67,7%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pengalaman praktik kerja lapangan dan persepsi positif terhadap bimbingan karier berperan penting dalam membentuk wawasan dunia kerja siswa. Optimalisasi pelaksanaan praktik kerja lapangan yang relevan dengan bidang keahlian serta peningkatan kualitas layanan bimbingan karier di sekolah perlu dilakukan untuk mempersiapkan lulusan SMK yang memiliki wawasan dan kesiapan kerja yang lebih baik. ***** This study aims to determine the relationship between field work practice experience and perceptions of career guidance with students’ work world insights at SMKN 72 Jakarta. The research employed a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The population consisted of 129 fresh graduate students in the 2024/2025 academic year, with a sample of 75 students selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis used the Pearson Product Moment correlation test and multiple regression analysis with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics version 27. The results showed that: (1) there is a positive relationship with a weak level of strength between field work practice experience and students’ work world insights, with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.447 and a contribution of 20%; (2) there is a positive relationship with a very strong level of strength between perceptions of career guidance and work world insights, with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.804 and a contribution of 64,7%; and (3) simultaneously, field work practice experience and perceptions of career guidance have a positive and very strong relationship with students’ work world insights, with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.823 and a contribution of 67,7%. The conclusion of this study is that field work practice experience and positive perceptions of career guidance play an important role in shaping students’ understanding of the work world. Therefore, optimizing the implementation of relevant field work practice and improving the quality of career guidance services at schools are essential to better prepare vocational school graduates with broader insights and stronger readiness for the workforce.
