Abstract

Fenomena perubahan lingkungan menjadi isu yang krusial dan mengkhawatirkan akibat tingginya tingkat pencemaran, pemasalahan limbah dan alih fungsi lahan. Kondisi ini menuntut peserta didik memiliki keterampilan berpikir kritis untuk memahami dan merespons permasalahan lingkungan secara tepat dan kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan Ecosnap: digital flipbook berbasis microlearning untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan model Hannafin and Peck dengan subjek guru Biologi dan peserta didik kelas X di SMAN 70 Jakarta. Hasil uji validasi menunjukkan bahwa Ecosnap "sangat valid" dari aspek materi, media, dan bahasa. Selain itu, respon peserta didik dan guru menunjukkan Ecosnap ini "sangat layak" untuk digunakan. Serta instrumen berpikir kritis dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Implementasi media dilakukan melalui desain one group pretest-posttest. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa nilai pretest dan posttest tidak berdistribusi normal dan bersifat homogen. Uji Wilcoxon menghasilkan signifikansi 0,001 (< 0,05), menandakan adanya perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan. Nilai n-gain sebesar 0,4 menunjukkan efektivitas peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada kategori sedang. Dengan demikian, Ecosnap ini dinyatakan valid, layak, dan efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. ***** The phenomenon of environmental change has become a crucial and worrying issue due to high levels of pollution, waste problems, and land conversion. This condition requires students to possess critical thinking skills to understand and respond to environmental issues appropriately and critically. This study aims to develop Ecosnap: a microlearning-based digital flipbook to improve students' critical thinking skills. The study used the Hannafin and Peck model of research and development with Biology teachers and 10th-grade students at SMAN 70 Jakarta as subjects. The validation test results showed that Ecosnap was "very valid" in terms of material, media, and language. In addition, student and teacher responses indicated that Ecosnap was "very feasible" to use. The critical thinking instrument was also declared valid and reliable. The media implementation was carried out through a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data analysis showed that the pretest and posttest scores were not normally distributed and were homogeneous. The Wilcoxon test yielded a significance of 0.001 (<0.05), indicating a significant difference in the average. The n-gain value of 0.4 indicates the effectiveness of improving critical thinking skills in the moderate category. Thus, Ecosnap is declared valid, feasible, and effective for improving students' critical thinking skills.
