Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan tata ruang kantor terbuka pada Perusahaan Citiasia Inc, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menjadi kendala dalam penerapannya, serta menganalisis alternatif solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung terhadap kondisi tata ruang kantor terbuka, wawancara mendalam dengan pihak terkait, serta dokumentasi pendukung yang relevan. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan tata ruang kantor terbuka di Citiasia Inc telah berjalan dan memberikan manfaat dalam hal kemudahan interaksi serta efisiensi ruang kerja, khususnya dalam satu divisi. Namun, penerapan tersebut belum sepenuhnya optimal karena masih terdapat beberapa kendala. Kendala utama yang ditemukan meliputi tingkat kebisingan yang cukup tinggi sehingga mengganggu konsentrasi kerja karyawan, keterbatasan ruang diskusi khusus, serta penataan fasilitas pendukung yang belum memadai. Selain itu, perbedaan karakteristik pekerjaan karyawan juga menjadi faktor yang memengaruhi penerapan konsep kantor terbuka. Alternatif solusi yang dapat dilakukan antara lain penataan ulang ruang kerja secara lebih terencana, penyediaan ruang diskusi dan ruang kerja khusus, penggunaan elemen peredam suara, serta pengaturan zona kerja berdasarkan jenis aktivitas. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi dan rekomendasi bagi Perusahaan dalam mengoptimalkan penerapan tata ruang kantor terbuka agar lebih efektif, nyaman, dan mendukung produktivitas karyawan. ***** This study aims to analyze the implementation of an open office layout at Citiasia Inc., identify the factors that hinder its implementation, and examine alternative solutions that can be applied to overcome these obstacles. The research method used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through direct observation of the open office layout conditions, in-depth interviews with relevant parties, and the collection of supporting documentation. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the open office layout at Citiasia Inc. has been carried out and provides benefits in terms of facilitating interaction and improving workspace efficiency, particularly within the same division. However, the implementation has not been fully optimal, as several obstacles remain. The main constraints identified include relatively high noise levels that disrupt employees’ work concentration, limited availability of dedicated discussion spaces, and inadequate arrangement of supporting facilities. In addition, differences in the characteristics of employees’ job roles also affect the application of the open office concept. Alternative solutions that can be implemented include more well-planned workspace reorganization, the provision of discussion rooms and dedicated workspaces, the use of sound-absorbing elements, and the arrangement of work zones based on types of activities. This study is expected to serve as evaluation material and a set of recommendations for the company in optimizing the implementation of the open office layout to be more effective, comfortable, and supportive of employee productivity.
