Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran Bank Sampah “Teman Pilah” dalam usaha pengelolaan sampah di RW 05 Kecamatan Tebet, Jakarta Selatan, ditinjau dari aspek pengurangan dan penanganan sampah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif, data yang dikumpulkan selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif persentase. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 89 responden ibu rumah tangga yang bergabung menjadi nasabah Bank Sampah Teman Pilah. Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian pada bulan Juli – Oktober 2025. Teknik yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data yaitu dengan melakukan dokumentasi, wawancara, dan menyebar kuesioner. Kuesioner pada penelitian ini berupa kuesioner tertutup berjumlah 17 butir pernyataan yang meliputi 4 soal untuk mengetahui aspek pengurangan sampah dan 13 soal untuk mengetahui aspek penanganan sampah di bank sampah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Bank Peran Bank Sampah Teman Pilah dalam usaha pengelolaan sampah berada pada kategori sangat baik. Pada aspek pengurangan sampah kinerja mencapai rata-rata 85,39% didukung oleh kesadaran lingkungan dan kegiatan edukasi dari bank sampah. Pada aspek penanganan sampah kinerja mencapai rata-rata 82,38%. Konsistensi penyetoran ini didukung oleh keinginan menjaga lingkungan dan mendapat penghasilan tambahan. Kinerja bank sampah ini memberikan dampak yang nyata terhadap penurunan timbulan sampah tahunan dari 7.346 Kg pada tahun 2023 menjadi 6.404 Kg pada tahun 2024. ****** This study aims to determine the role of the “Teman Pilah” Waste Bank in waste management efforts in RW 05, Tebet District, South Jakarta, viewed from the aspect of waste reduction and handling. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive method, the collected data was then analyzed using descriptive percentage analysis. The sample in this study was 89 housewife respondents who joined as customers of the Teman Pilah Waste Bank. The research was conducted from July to October 2025. The techniques used in collecting data were documentation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires. The questionnaire in this study was a closed questionnaire totaling 17 statements including 4 questions to determine aspects of waste reduction and 13 questions to determine aspects of waste handling at the waste bank. The results of this study indicate that the role of the Teman Pilah Waste Bank in waste management efforts is in the very good category. In the aspect of waste reduction, performance reached an average of 85,39% supported by environmental awareness and educational activities from the waste bank. In the aspect of waste handling, performance reached an average of 82,38%. This consistent contribution is driven by a desire to protect the environment and generate additional income. The waste bank's performance has had a significant impact, reducing annual waste generation from 7,346 kg in 2023 to 6,404 kg in 2024.
