Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan memperoleh pemahaman mengenai kesalahan kohesi leksikal dan gramatikal di dalam karangan eksposisi siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan serta menjelaskan kesalahan kohesi leksikal dan gramatikal di dalam karangan eksposisi siswa. Sumber data penelitian ini yaitu berupa karangan siswa yang diperoleh dari hasil siswa membuat karangan tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan kohesi leksikal dalam karangan eksposisi siswa ditemukan dengan jumlah persentase kesalahan paling banyak pada repetisi sebanyak 8 kesalahan (3,31%), sinonimi sebanyak 2 kesalahan (0.83%), hiponimi sebanyak 0 kesalahan (0 %), metonimi sebanyak 0 kesalahan (0 %), antonimi sebanyak 0 kesalahan (0 %), dan terakhir kolokasi sebanyak 6 kesalahan (2,48 %). Adapun kesalahan gramatikal ditemukan kesalahan referensi sebanyak 29 kesalahan (11,98 %), substitusi sebanyak 2 kesalahan (0.83%), elipsis sebanyak 15 kesalahan (6,19 %), dan terbanyak pada kesalahan relasi yaitu sebanyak 180 kesalahan (74,38 %). Dari jumlah kesalahan tersebut terdapat faktor yang mempengaruhi, yaitu faktor kompetensi. Faktor kompetensi yang mempengaruhi kesalahan kohesi dalam karangan siswa yaitu kurangnya pengetahuan siswa terhadap kaidah-kaidah di dalam bahasa sehingga siswa menjadi bingung dalam menerapkan kaidah yang benar di dalam karangan eksposisi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai materi ajar dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Kata Kunci: kohesi leksikal, kohesi gramatikal, eksposisi The purpose of this study was to find out and obtain an understanding of the errors of lexical and grammatical cohesion in the exposition of students. This research was conducted in the even semester of the academic year 2017/2018. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive qualitative method which aims to describe and explain the errors of lexical and grammatical cohesion in the exposition of students. The source of this research data is in the form of students' essays obtained from the results of students making the essay. The results of this study indicate that the errors of lexical cohesion in the exposition essay of students are found with the highest percentage of errors in repetitions of 8 errors (3.31%), synonymy as much as 2 errors (0.83%), hyponymy 0 errors (0%), metonymy 0 errors (0%), antonym of 0 errors (0%), and finally collocation of 6 errors (2,48%). The grammatical errors found as many as 29 errors (11.98%), substitutions as many as 2 error (0.83%), elipsis as many as 15 errors (6.19%), and the most in error relationships as many as 180 errors (74.38% ) Of the number of errors there are factors that influence, namely the competency factor. The competency factors that influence cohesion errors in students 'essays are the lack of students' knowledge of the rules in the language so that students become confused in applying the correct rules in the exposition essay.
