Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (PjBL) berbantuan Canvaterhadap hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPS peserta didik kelas IX SMP Negeri 163 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain Non-equivalent Control Group Design pada dua kelas, yaitu IX D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan IX C sebagai kelas kontrol, masing-masing berjumlah 33 peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal pilihan ganda yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, dengan analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, t-test independen, dan N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen sebesar 79,85 lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol sebesar 69,36 dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, serta nilai N-Gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 54% (kategori sedang) dan kelas kontrol 32% (kategori tidak efektif). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model PjBL berbantuan Canva efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS Kelas IX di SMP Negeri 163 Jakarta. ***** This study aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by Canva on the Social Studies learning outcomes of Grade IX students at SMP Negeri 163 Jakarta. The research employed an experimental method with a Non-equivalent Control Group Design involving two classes: IX D as the experimental class and IX C as the control class, each consisting of 33 students. The research instrument was a multiple-choice test that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques included normality testing, homogeneity testing, independent t-test, and N-Gain analysis. The results showed that the average post-test score of the experimental class was 79.85, higher than the control class with 69.36, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The N-Gain score of the experimental class was 54% (moderate category), while the control class obtained 32% (ineffective category). The study concludes that the use of the PjBL model assisted by Canva is effective in improving Social Studies learning outcomes for Grade IX students at SMP Negeri 163 Jakarta.
