Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model intervensi hambatan komunikasi pada anak dengan kelainan celah bibir dan langit-langit degan merujuk pada perspektif sosiokultural Vygotsky dan ekologi perkembangan Bronfenbrenner. Permasalahan komunikasi pada anak dengan kelainan ini mencakup gangguan artikulasi, resonansi, dan keterlambatan perkembangan bahasa, yang berdampak pada interaksi sosial, emosional, dan pendidikan anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus tunggal. Data dikumpulkan melalui refleksi naratif peneliti sebagai orang tua dari anak dengan kelainan celah bibir dan langit-langit, serta wawancara mendalam dengan dokter gigi spesialis bedah mulut dan terapis wicara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intervensi yang dilakukan secara kolaboratif dan berkesinambungan antara dokter, terapis, dan orang tua dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi anak. Model intervensi yang dikembangkan terdiri dari tiga tahapan utama, yaitu: (1) intervensi medis melalui operasi celah bibir dan langit-langit, (2) terapi wicara terstruktur yang melibatkan orang tua, dan (3) pendampingan berbasis rumah untuk stimulasi berkelanjutan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa intervensi dini yang dilakukan secara multidisipliner dan didukung oleh keterlibatan aktif orang tua terbukti efektif dalam mengatasi hambatan komunikasi pada anak dengan kelainan celah bibir dan langit-langit. ***** This study aims to develop an intervention model for communication barriers in children with cleft lip and palate by referring to Vygotsky's sociocultural perpective and Bronfenbrenner's developmental ecology. Communication issues in children with this condition include articulation disorders, resonance problems, and delayed language development, which affect their social, emotional, and educational interactions. The research employed a qualitative method using a single case study design. Data were collected through the researcher's reflective narrative as а parent of a child with cleft lip and palate, along with in-depth interviews with a maxillofacial surgeon and a speech therapist. The findings indicate that collaborative and continuous interventions involving doctors, therapists, and parents significantly enhance the child's communication abilities. The proposed intervention model consists of three main stages: (1) medical intervention through surgical repair of the cleft lip and palate, (2) structured speech therapy involving active parental participation, and (3) homebased parental support for continuous stimulation. In conclusion, early multidisciplinary interventions supported by active parental involvement are proven effective in overcoming communication barriers in children with cleft lip and palate.
