Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan sistem presensi digital karyawan berbasis website di PT David Roy Indonesia serta kendala dan upaya pengoptimalannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan lima partisipan yang terdiri dari karyawan operasional dan staf Human Resources (HR), observasi, studi kepustakaan, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem presensi digital berbasis website di PT David Roy Indonesia telah berjalan dengan baik dan memberikan kemudahan dalam proses administrasi kehadiran karyawan. Prosedur penggunaan sistem dinilai sederhana dan mudah dipahami oleh pengguna. Faktor pendukung penerapan sistem meliputi kemudahan akses, otomatisasi pencatatan kehadiran, serta dukungan dari pihak HR. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa kendala, seperti gangguan teknis pada jam sibuk, ketergantungan pada koneksi internet, dan proses adaptasi karyawan terhadap sistem baru. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi dalam pengembangan sistem presensi digital agar lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran mengenai penerapan sistem presensi digital karyawan berbasis website sebagai bagian dari pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam pengelolaan sumber daya manusia, serta diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi dan pengembangan sistem presensi digital agar lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan di masa yang akan datang. Kata kunci: Administrasi Kehadiran, Presensi Digital, Sistem Informasi, SDM, Website. ***** This study aims to analyze the implementation of a website-based digital employee attendance system at PT David Roy Indonesia, as well as the obstacles and efforts to optimize it. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data collection was conducted through interviews with five participants consisting of operational employees and Human Resources (HR) staff, observation, literature study, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of a website based digital attendance system at PT David Roy Indonesia has been running well and has facilitated the employee attendance administration process. The system usage procedure is considered simple and easy to understand by users. Factors supporting the implementation of the system include ease of access, automation of attendance recording, and support from HR. However, there are still several obstacles, such as technical disruptions during peak hours, dependence on internet connection, and the process of employee adaptation to the new system. This study is expected to serve as evaluation material for the development of a more effective and sustainable digital attendance system. This study provides an overview of the implementation of a website-based digital employee attendance system as part of the use of information technology in human resource management, and is expected to serve as evaluation and development material for a more effective and sustainable digital attendance system in the future.
