Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh penilaian estetika produk tas upcycle denim dengan Teknik patchwork berdasarkan teori estetika dengan indikator penilaian wujud atau rupa, bobot atau isi, dan penampilan atau penyajian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan desain pre – eksperimentalyang digunakan adalah one- shot case study. Dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument angket yang diberikan kepada panelis ahli untuk memberikan nilai pada variable Tunggal, yaitu penilaian estetika tas upcycle denim dengan teknik patchwork meliputi indikator wujud atau rupa, bobot atau isi, penampilan atau penyajian yang diukur dengan rating scale. Secara keseluruhan hasil data penilaian menurut teori estetika pada produk tas upcycle denim dengan Teknik patchwork mendapatkan nilai yang sangat baik dengan presentase nilai sebesar 88,7%. Dan produk dengan nilai tertinggi produk yang yang memiliki hasil presentase dengan nilai tertinggi Adalah desain 5 dengan presentase nilai 91,7%. Untuk desain 1,2 dan 4 mendapatkan presentase nilai yang sangat baik dengan masing - masing nilai 85,8%, 89,8, dan 90,7%. Dan nilai terendah didapatkan pada produk 3 dengan presentase nilai 85,4 %. Penilaian estetika produk tas upcycle denim dengan teknik patchwork mendapatkan hasil yang sangat baik. ***** This study aims to obtain an aesthetic evaluation of upcycled denim bag products using the patchwork technique based on aesthetic theory, with assessment indicators consisting of form or appearance, content or substance, and presentation. The research method employed is descriptive quantitative with a pre-experimental design, specifically a one-shot case study.Data were collected using a questionnaire instrument administered to expert panelists to assess a single variable, namely the aesthetic evaluation of upcycled denim bags using the patchwork technique, which includes the indicators of form or appearance, content or substance, and presentation, measured using a rating scale.Overall, the results of the aesthetic evaluation based on aesthetic theory indicate that the upcycled denim bag products using the patchwork technique achieved a very good rating, with an overall percentage score of 88.7%. The product with the highest score was Design 5, which obtained a percentage score of 91.7%. Designs 1, 2, and 4 also received very good ratings, with percentage scores of 85.8%, 89.8%, and 90.7%, respectively. The lowest score was obtained by Design 3, with a percentage score of 85.4%.Therefore, it can be concluded that the aesthetic evaluation of upcycled denim bag products using the patchwork technique shows very good results.
