Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang UI/UX Human Resource Information System (HRIS) berbasis website yang mampu meningkatkan pengelolaan data kepegawaian di PT Saraswanti Anugerah Indonesia. Sistem yang digunakan sebelumnya masih bersifat manual yang bergantung pada Microsoft Excel, sehingga rentan terjadi kesalahan pencatatan, keterlambatan proses administrasi, dan kurangnya transparansi data bagi karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design Thinking melalui lima tahapan: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, dan Test. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, studi literatur, dan penyusunan user persona untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengguna secara mendalam. Prototipe high-fidelity dikembangkan menggunakan Figma, mencakup fitur pengelolaan karyawan, lembur, gaji, cuti, sanksi, serta persuratan. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan metode Think Aloud dan System Usability Scale (SUS). Hasil Think Aloud menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan tugas sebesar 94,05% untuk admin dan 94,45% untuk karyawan, menandakan sistem mudah digunakan. Sementara itu, hasil SUS dari dua belas responden menghasilkan skor rata-rata 75,41%, yang termasuk dalam kategori Good dengan Grade B, ini menunjukkan bahwa prototipe dapat diterima dan memenuhi standar usability. Hasil tersebut membuktikan bahwa rancangan UI/UX HRIS berbasis website ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi kerja, mengurangi human error, serta mendukung proses administrasi kepegawaian yang lebih cepat, transparan, dan terstruktur. Kata Kunci: UI/UX, Human Resource Information System (HRIS), Design Thinking, Think Aloud, System Usability Scale (SUS). ***** This study aims to design the user interface and user experience (UI/UX) of a web-based Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to improve the efficiency of employee data management at PT Saraswanti Anugerah Indonesia. The company’s existing system relies heavily on manual processing using Microsoft Excel, which often leads to data inaccuracies, delays in administrative tasks, and limited transparency for employees. The research adopts the Design Thinking methodology, consisting of five stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. Data were collected through interviews, literature reviews, and the development of user personas to identify user needs comprehensively. A high-fidelity prototype was developed using Figma, featuring modules for employee management, overtime, payroll, leave, disciplinary actions, and official letters. Usability testing was conducted using the Think Aloud method and the System Usability Scale (SUS). The Think Aloud results show a high task success rate of 94,05% for administrators and 94,45% for employees, indicating that the system is easy to use and effectively supports user tasks. Meanwhile, the SUS test involving twelve participants resulted in an average score of 75,41%, categorized as Good with a Grade B, demonstrating that the prototype is well-accepted and meets usability standards. These findings confirm that the proposed HRIS UI/UX design improves work efficiency, reduces human error, and supports faster, more transparent, and well-structured administrative processes.
