Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran MONUS (Monopoli Nusantara) pada materi Indonesiaku Kaya Budaya dalam mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) kelas IV Sekolah Dasar serta mengetahui kelayakan media yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang meliputi tahap define, design, dan development. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas IV SDN Kayu Manis 01. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Instrumen penelitian meliputi angket analisis kebutuhan, angket validasi ahli materi, ahli bahasa, ahli media, serta angket kepraktisan peserta didik. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media MONUS dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan, bersifat interaktif, sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik, serta berpotensi meningkatkan motivasi dan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi keberagaman budaya Indonesia. ***** This study aimed to develop MONUS (Monopoly of the Archipelago) as a learning medium for the topic Indonesiaku Kaya Budaya in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject for fourth-grade elementary school students and to determine its feasibility. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D development model, consisting of the define, design, and development stages. The research subjects were fourth-grade students of SDN Kayu Manis 01. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The research instruments included a needs analysis questionnaire, validation questionnaires from material, language, and media experts, as well as a student practicality questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results showed that the MONUS learning medium was categorized as highly feasible, interactive, and appropriate to students’ characteristics, and it has the potential to enhance students’ motivation and understanding of Indonesian cultural diversity.
