Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengalaman peserta didik dan temuan wali kelas terkait bullying di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri di DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan sampel sebanyak 5.899 peserta didik dan 124 wali kelas yang dipilih melalui teknik convenience sampling dari 14 SMP Negeri di tiga kota provinsi DKI Jakarta. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Revised Olweus Bully Victim Questionnaire dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bullying fisik memiliki rerata skor lebih tinggi dengan perolehan skor 1,60 dibandingkan bullying verbal dan bullying sosial. Selain itu, ditemukan adanya kesenjangan antara pengalaman bullying yang dilaporkan oleh peserta didik dengan temuan wali kelas, yang mengindikasikan perbedaan tingkat keterdeteksian kasus bullying di sekolah. Temuan ini menunjukkan adanya variasi pengalaman bullying berdasarkan karakteristik sosial dan kontekstual peserta didik serta menegaskan pentingnya penguatan peran wali kelas dan kolaborasi dengan guru BK dalam upaya pencegahan serta penanganan bullying di lingkungan sekolah. ***** This study aims to describe students' experiences and homeroom teachers' findings related to bullying in public junior high schools in DKI Jakarta. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach with a sample of 5,899 students and 124 homeroom teachers selected through convenience sampling techniques from 14 public junior high schools in three cities in DKI Jakarta. Data collection was conducted using the Revised Olweus Bully Victim Questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that physical bullying had a higher average score of 1.60 compared to verbal bullying and social bullying. In addition, a gap was found between the bullying experiences reported by students and the homeroom teachers' findings, indicating differences in the level of detection of bullying cases in schools. These findings indicate variations in bullying experiences based on students' social and contextual characteristics and emphasize the importance of strengthening the role of homeroom teachers and collaborating with guidance counselors in efforts to prevent and address bullying in the school environment.
