Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi Program GENTA (Gerakan Cinta Al-Qur’an) di SMPN 252 Jakarta dengan menggunakan model evaluasi CIPP (context, input, process, dan product) yang mencakup komponen konteks, input, proses, dan produk. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Hasil evaluasi pada komponen context menunjukkan bahwa program disusun berdasarkan kebutuhan sekolah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an siswa, memiliki landasan hukum yang jelas, serta tujuan yang selaras dengan visi sekolah. Pada komponen input, program didukung oleh pembimbing yang kompeten, sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, serta dokumen pelaksanaan program seperti pedoman dan proposal. Pada komponen process, kegiatan berjalan secara rutin dua kali dalam seminggu melalui pengelompokan siswa sesuai kemampuan, dan terdapat monitoring berkala setiap minggu serta evaluasi pada akhir periode tertentu. Pada komponen product, program memberikan hasil yang terlihat dari meningkatnya kemampuan membaca dan hafalan siswa serta bertambahnya siswa yang memperoleh sertifikat resmi dari Kementerian Agama. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Program GENTA telah berjalan dengan baik dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap kemampuan membaca dan menghafal Al-Qur’an siswa di SMPN 252 Jakarta. ***** This research was conducted to implement the GENTA (Quran Love Movement) Program at SMPN 252 Jakarta using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product) evaluation model, which includes context, input, process, and product components. The research employed a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and document study. The evaluation results for the context component indicate that the program was designed based on the school's needs to improve students' Quran reading skills, had a clear legal basis, and objectives aligned with the school's vision. In the input component, the program was supported by competent mentors, adequate facilities and infrastructure, and program implementation documents such as guidelines and proposals. In the process component, activities ran routinely twice a week, grouping students according to ability, and included weekly monitoring and evaluation at the end of each period. In the product component, the program yielded visible results in improved reading and memorization skills, as well as an increase in students receiving official certificates from the Ministry of Religious Affairs. This study shows that the GENTA Program has been running well and has had a positive impact on students' Quran reading and memorization abilities at SMPN 252 Jakarta.
