Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar dan self regulated learning terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika. Penelitian ini adalah survei dengan pendekatan kausal. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas IV SD Se gugus V Kota Serang. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik Cluster Sampling dan terpilih kelas IV SDN 13 Serang, SDN Ciceri, dan SDN 3 Kota Serang sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini dengan jumlah 75 orang. Hasil survei dengan pendekatan kausal tersebut akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis jalur. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika; (2) terdapat pengaruh self regulated learning terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika; (3) terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap self regulated learning; (4) terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar dan self regulated learning terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika. Kata Kunci: motivasi belajar, kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita, self regulated learning The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning motivation and self regulated learning on the ability to solve mathematical word problems. This research is a survey with a causal approach. The population of this research is all grade IV students of Elementary School V in Serang City. Samples were taken using probability sampling technique and selected class IV SDN 13 Serang, SDN Ciceri, and SDN 3 Serang as samples in this study with a total of 75 people. The results of the survey using the causal approach will be analyzed using path analysis. The method used is a test method. The results showed that: (1) there was an influence of learning motivation on the ability to solve mathematical word problems; (2) there is an influence of self regulated learning on the ability to solve mathematical word problems; (3) there is an influence of learning motivation on the self regulated learning; (4) there is an influence of learning motivation and self regulated learning on the ability to solve mathematical word problems.
