Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi kepala sekolah dalam peningkatan profesionalisme guru di SDIT Bina Lestari Cikarang Utara. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada peran kepala sekolah sebagai manajer, supervisor akademik, dan pemimpin (leader) dalam mengembangkan profesionalisme guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi, dengan informan utama kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, dan guru. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profesionalisme guru di SDIT Bina Lestari secara umum telah mencakup kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian, meskipun masih diperlukan pendampingan bagi sebagian guru. Kepala sekolah menerapkan berbagai strategi peningkatan profesionalisme guru melalui pembinaan berkelanjutan, pelatihan, supervisi akademik yang bersifat humanis dan reflektif, serta pengembangan budaya kerja yang positif. Supervisi akademik dilaksanakan sebagai sarana pembinaan, bukan pengawasan semata, sehingga mendorong guru menjadi lebih reflektif dan terbuka terhadap perbaikan pembelajaran. Selain itu, motivasi dan budaya kerja yang dibangun kepala sekolah berkontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan kinerja dan profesionalisme guru. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang bersifat transformasional dan instruksional terbukti berperan penting dalam mendukung peningkatan mutu pembelajaran dan kualitas lulusan. Kata kunci: strategi kepala sekolah, profesionalisme guru, SDIT*****ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the strategies of the school principal in improving teacher professionalism at SDIT Bina Lestari, North Cikarang. The research focuses on the principal’s roles as a manager, academic supervisor, and leader in developing teacher professionalism. A qualitative approach with a descriptive method was employed. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, involving the principal, vice principals, and teachers as informants. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through triangulation techniques. The findings indicate that teacher professionalism at SDIT Bina Lestari generally reflects pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies, although continuous guidance is still required for some teachers. The principal implements various strategies to enhance teacher professionalism, including ongoing coaching, training programs, humanistic and reflective academic supervision, and the development of a positive work culture. Academic supervision is carried out as a form of professional guidance rather than mere control, encouraging teachers to become more reflective and open to improving instructional practices. Furthermore, the motivation and work culture fostered by the principal significantly contribute to improving teacher performance and professionalism. Transformational and instructional leadership demonstrated by the principal plays an important role in supporting the improvement of learning quality and graduate outcomes.
