Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi koping dan efikasi diri akademik terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis pada mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada tingginya tekanan akademik dan psikologis yang dialami oleh mahasiswa skripsi, sehingga diperlukan sumber daya psikologis yang adaptif untuk menjaga kesejahteraan psikologis. penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Data dikumpulkan dari 307 mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi di wilayah Jabodetabek melalui penyebaran kuesioner daring, menggunakan tiga instrumen yaitu Ryff Psychological Well-Being Scale (RPWB) untuk mengukur kesejahteraan psikologis, BriefCOPE untuk mengukur strategi koping, dan The Academic Self-Efficacy Scale (TASES) untuk mengukur efikasi diri akademik. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan perangkat lunak JASP 0.19.3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa problem-focused coping berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis (β = 0.491, p < 0.001), demikian pula emotion-focused coping menghasilkan pengaruh positif signifikan (β = 0.418, p < 0.001). Sebaliknya, dysfunctional coping berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis (β = - 0.300, p < 0.001). Efikasi diri akademik menunjukkan pengaruh positif paling kuat terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis mahasiswa skripsi (β = 0.664, p < 0.001). Secara simultan, strategi koping dan efikasi diri akademik menjelaskan 53.1% varians kesejahteraan psikologis mahasiswa (R2 = 0.531). Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa strategi problem-focused coping, emotion-focused coping dan efikasi diri akademik merupakan faktor penting dalam menjaga kesejahteraan psikologis mahasiswa selama proses mengerjakan skripsi. This study was based on the high level of academic and psychological pressure experienced by thesis students, highlighting the need for adaptive psychological resources to maintain psychological well-being. This study employed a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. Data were collected from 307 students who were completing their thesis in the Jabodetabek area through an online questionnaire, using three instruments: the Ryff Psychological Well-Being Scale (RPWB) to measure psychological well-being, the BriefCOPE to assess coping strategies, and the The Academic Self-Efficacy Scale (TASES) to measure academic self-efficacy. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of JASP software version 0.19.3. The results indicated that problem-focused coping had a significant positive effect on psychological well-being (β = 0.491, p < 0.001), and emotion-focused coping also showed a significant positive effect (β = 0.418, p < 0.001). In contrast, dysfunctional coping had a significant negative effect on psychological well-being (β = −0.300, p < 0.001). Academic self-efficacy demonstrated the strongest positive effect on psychological well-being (β = 0.664, p < 0.001). Simultaneously, coping strategies and academic self-efficacy explained 53.1% of the variance in psychological well-being (R² = 0.531). These findings confirm that problem-focused coping, emotion-focused coping strategies and academic self-efficacy are essential factors in maintaining students’ psychological well-being during the thesis completion process.
